Why for a time the band stop?

I quit and ended Mystic Circle in 2007 cause the old spirit was gome for a longer time then. So i decided to end the band. In 2020 Blackwar and myself came together over different corners and soon we feeled that we had the same passion for Mystic Circle like when we began in 1992. Since then we dont stop the creativity for dark demon music and we will carry on with Mystic Circle as long as we are inspired by the dark side and feel well in our circle of dark art.

“Erzdämon” is a wanderful album. Speak on criative process.

Thanks. The album is a straight continuation of the Mystic Circle album which we released in 2022 on Atomic Fire Records. On the “Erzdämon” album we go a little bit further and use not only demonic antichrist stuff but also we dive deeper in the world of mystic and horror which is our live long passion till now. So the new album has more of this horror movies and soundtracks vibe and we use more classical metal tabs played in a disharmonic way.

 

Wich signification the title “Erzdämon”?

“Erzdämon” is the german name for archdemon. An archdemon is a very powerfull king demon which is very evil. The name represents the bombast and darkness of the nine songs on the album.

 

The principal working the lyrics is satanism. What's your think cristianism?

Christianity and all the conservativ society is a complete lie of creedy oppressors. We use Satan as a sword against this institutions.

 

The Mystic Circle intend live concerts in 2023?

In the moment no.

What thought on Black Metal scene atualict?

There are great old school bands like Dark Funeral and so on but also newer bands like Gaerea. So the scene goes on in a good way.
